Lease Types

There are various types of leases and arrangements that may be negotiated for your acreage:

  • 50 / 50 crop share or modified crop share (the tenant bears all herbicide expense)
  • Custom farmed (the landowner pays all expenses and receives all income)
  • Cash rent or variable cash rent (using an Iowa State framework)
